What is Good Weather?
by Claire Llewellyn
(Oxford Literacy Web)
Discussion texts are in short supply so this one on weather is very welcome. It looks at the way one person's idea of good weather is another person's idea of bad weather. There are two double page spreads for each weather type (sun, wind, rain and snow) with one spread looking at its good points and the other looking at its bad ones. The final spread acts both as a conclusion and a lead into a class discussion on the topic.
