Notes to Contributors
We welcome articles about writing for children from published authors, editors or others working in the book trade. We are also interested in articles on parenting issues and numeracy teaching. We do not publish children's stories or poetry ourselves but wish you good luck in having them accepted elsewhere.
Articles need to be geared to the UK market and written in a friendly style. Flexibility is one of the delights of on-line publishing so length isn't crucial but 600-800 words is a good target to aim at. We are happy to consider reprints provided you still own the electronic rights.
Please contact us with a query us before submission. We pay £20 per article for non-exclusive electronic rights. This permits us to include the article on the site for an indefinite length of time but still allows you to sell the article elsewhere (although you must tell the other market that we are using it). We are also happy to include a generous byline plus links to your own website or up to 3 of your own books in Amazon.co.uk.
