Storykeepers by Andrew Melrose

I was commissioned to translate The New Testament into 15 animation films for ITV and world-wide release. In writing the series, I decided on an approach which was both theologically radical and historically challenging, based on my research in writing for children. The success of the series has contributed to the validation of my theories, which I am now writing up as a book on writing for children. The films, on which the books are based, which were commissioned by ITV, have been sold in 105 countries and translated into 36 languages - current estimated viewers, 27 squillion. Further, the films have been successfully peer reviewed for their Theological/Historical accuracy by the following:

The full series was broadcast in 1997 and repeated on ITV in 1998, 1999 and is being repeated now, in 2000, every Sunday morning, ITV, 10.30. Estimated UK viewing, 1.4 Million per week. They are also released in VIDEO format. Further, ITV also commissioned 2 feature films: 

1999 The Easter Storykeepers (A feature length film - screened Good Friday, 1999) 
The Christmas Storykeepers (A feature length film - screened 24th December 1999)

These have also been released in VIDEO format. 

NB: A further series of 15 films, featuring stories from the Old Testament has been commissioned by ITV; RTE and MEDIASET for release in 2001.
